About Us

CincyLax Mission Statement

CincyLax Lacrosse Club exists to provide the highest levels of quality lacrosse training for the players and to enhance their lacrosse skills and knowledge in a positive and safe environment.  CincyLax will use the US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model which is a research based program designed to enable everyone to grow in the game of lacrosse while teaching skills and developing the complete lacrosse player.

Vision

CincyLax Lacrosse Club will strive to create and nurture a valuable lacrosse learning experience. To achieve this goal we will make every effort to insure that well-educated coaches develop the skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship and to foster and perpetuate these qualities at all levels of their lacrosse growth. We will endeavor to empower our players with a life-long passion and love for the game of lacrosse.

Philosophy

CincyLax Lacrosse Club will create an environment where our players develop a love of the game of lacrosse and continue to participate in the sport throughout their lifetime. To achieve this goal, we must develop an environment where we teach a creative, attacking, and possession-style lacrosse, with sound defensive principles built on a foundation of strong technical skills.

In adopting this style of lacrosse, we strive to foster an environment free from the “fear of failure”, where our players can explore and be creative without the fear of making mistakes. We believe that such an environment, with no limitations is where our players can grow the most and realize their potential both as players and people.

How We reach our Goals

What Cincylax offers

Club Teams

This is the core of the program.  Cincinnati has many great athletes and lacrosse players that never get the chance to be great or go on to college and showcase their skills.  Our Club Teams will develop the complete player and help them reach their greatest potential while giving them the opportunity to play at the next level.

Clinics

There are great coaches in the area and we will give them the opportunity to showcase their coaching skills to players from other programs.  We will bring college coaches and players to coach in clinics whenever possible and allow those coaches the opportunity to recruit the players in Cincinnati.  Clinics are free to all club team players and others are able to come to clinics for a fee.

Individual Insruction

I constantly get calls from people looking for individual lessons.  We have the ability to get the right instructors to the players that need help at the right cost.

Camps

There will be a skills camp and team camp for all Club Players the first week of June.  This camp is free of charge for all Club Players.  There will also be other specialty camps offered throughout the year .
